We’re hosting $5.00 Flu Shot Friday at MainStreet. Flu season is here. There are now over 100 confirmed positive flu cases throughout Alabama.

According to the CDC, the 2017-2018 flu season reached a record-breaking high of hospitalization rates and positive flu tests. Also, the CDC reported 30,429 laboratory-confirmed flu-associated hospitalizations from Oct. 1, 2017, through April 30, 2018, and over 35,000 positive flu tests. Due to the rapid increase of positive flu cases, Governor Kay Ivey has declared a state of emergency for the state of Alabama.
