We had a fantastic and busy Summer in Alexander City!  MainStreet Family Urgent Care and Dr. Wags kicked off Summer by sponsoring KidsFest at the Lake Martin Innovation Center.  We had a fun time meeting kids from Summer camps in the area!

We were also fortunate enough to be a part of Mamie’s Place Children’s Library’s Summer reading program! Dr. Wags and our community educator, Courtney Lamberth read books about going to the doctor to some eager summer readers!  We also donated 6 book bags stuffed with school supplies for a library giveaway!

At the library’s end of Summer celebration, we got to visit with our friends again and give out some goodies! Dr. Wags even got a train ride.  We can’t wait to participate with Mamie’s Place Children’s Library again next year.

Did you know that MainStreet Family Urgent Care takes a week every summer to let our team members know how much they’re appreciated?  This summer was no different! Team A in Alex City had the best company spirit! They celebrated decades day, tacky day, and more!  Our teams were treated to lunch, an ice cream bar, brunch, and more!
